You’ll be joining a specialist service supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse, trauma and complex needs, where your experience can make a real difference.

You don't need an extensive management background.

We're particularly interested in candidates with strong experience supporting people with complex needs, a good understanding of domestic abuse and the potential to develop into a confident team leader.

What will you be doing?
  • Leading and supporting a dedicated team of Survivor Advocacy Support Workers.
  • Overseeing day to day service delivery and ensuring women receive high quality, person centred support.
  • Supporting women experiencing domestic abuse, trauma and complex needs.
  • Managing safeguarding concerns, risk assessments and challenging situations.
  • Providing guidance, supervision and support to your team.
  • Building relationships with partner agencies and attending multi-agency meetings.
  • Ensuring support plans are effective, outcomes-focused and tailored to individual needs.
  • Contributing to service development and maintaining high standards of care.

You’ll initially oversee a small team of two, with plans for the team to grow to four, giving you the opportunity to develop your leadership experience as the service expands.

What we're looking for
  • Strong experience supporting individuals with

complex needs, including challenging or high-risk situations.

Experience working with domestic abuse survivors, ideally within a specialist service.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and trauma-informed practice.
  • Experience in a senior support, supervisory or leadership position is beneficial, but not essential.
  • The confidence, compassion and communication skills to support and motivate others.
  • A genuine interest in progressing into team management.
What's on offer?

£31,888 per annum

6-month contract, moving straight into a permanent position and no need to re-interview!

  • Hybrid working, with two days per week from home.
  • A genuine opportunity to step up into management and lead your own team.
  • The chance to develop your leadership skills within a specialist domestic abuse service.
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference to women and children experiencing complex challenges.
Ready for your next step?

If you have strong complex needs experience and want to move into a role where you can lead, develop and support your own team, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
