Job summary

The Graduate Network is recruiting a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant for a Handsworth primary school. You will support EYFS pupils with SEND and complex needs, helping them engage in play-based learning and follow school routines.

You will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide steady, nurturing support, developing early communication, social and independence skills in young learners. Immediate start until July 2027.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies or related subject.
• Genuine interest in supporting EYFS pupils with SEND and complex needs.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain).

The Role:

As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will support EYFS pupils with SEND and complex needs. You will help children engage with play-based learning, follow routines and develop early communication, social and independence skills. You will work closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to provide consistent, caring support throughout the school day.

Requirements
