Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is seeking a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant for a Birmingham school, supporting pupils with ASC. The role involves 1:1 and small group support, promoting engagement, independence and wellbeing in a nurturing, therapeutic environment.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, bringing patience and adaptability. The school offers excellent PAYE daily rates, CPD opportunities and a dedicated consultant to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with complex ASC.

£92.56 - £105 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The specialist ASC School is a well-regarded specialist setting supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism and communication difficulties. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school offers a nurturing, well-resourced environment with small class sizes and a strong therapeutic approach. The role involves supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, promoting engagement, independence and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements

The desired Complex Needs Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with children or young people with complex ASC
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• A passion for supporting individual progress and wellbeing
• An ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
