Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a complex needs specialist in Oldbury. The role involves supporting SEN Primary children with a Level 2/3 TA qualification, 8.30-3.30, Monday to Friday. The setting is complex needs with long-term, temp-to-perm potential.

Daily pay ranges from £95 to £108.21 depending on experience and qualifications. Required are Level 3 and Level 2 qualifications in Health and Social, EYFS or TA/SEN, SEN knowledge, and a nurturing, physically fit individual with school

Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a complex needs specialist in Oldbury - This is an opportunity for someone wanting to make a difference to young persons life, providing holistic care, nurture and support. The ideal candidate has a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years Qualification. Would like to work with SEN Primary children and can do 8.30- 3.30 Monday- Friday.

Students are supported to re-engage with learning, develop practical skills, and work towards emotional support. As a learning support assistant, the candidate will have experience in either PMLD, complex needs, SLD or ASD.

CONTRACT DETAILS:

• Position: LSA
• Setting: Complex needs
• Start date: October 2026 (possibly sooner)
• Duration / Likely Duration: Long-term
• Contract type: Temp-to-Perm
• Full time/part time: Full-Time
• Pay: From GBP95- 108.21 per day (depending on experience and quals)
• Working hours: 08.30-15.30

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Level 3 in either Health and Social, EYFS or Teaching Assistant/ SEN
• Level 2 in either Health and Social, EYFS or Teaching Assistant/ SEN
• SEN knowledge either personal or professional
• Physically fit to support mobility issues
• Nurturing and passionate individual
• Knowledge of SEN support
• Care or school experience/ environments

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced Child/ Adult Barred List DBS registered with the update service, or be willing to apply
• Provide a minimum of two professional, child-related references

Successful candidates will be required to register with Prospero Teaching to take up the post.
