Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Complex Needs Specialist to support adults in the Haringey Recovery Service, working from the HAGA/HRS office and out in the community. Deliver person-centred interventions for OST, alcohol use, and non-opiate needs, with a focus on harm minimisation and recovery goals.

You will collaborate with GPs and social care networks, facilitate group sessions, and empower service users throughout their recovery journey.

Complex Needs Specialist Location: HAGA Seven Sisters Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £28,487- £34,730 per annum

About the Role

As a key member of the Haringey Recovery Service (HRS), you will manage a caseload of adult service users receiving recovery support within community settings. The role involves working both from the main office at HAGA/HRS, 590 Seven Sisters Road, and out in the community. You will deliver person-centred, evidence-based interventions to support individuals accessing care for: Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Alcohol use Non-opiate substance use Combined alcohol and non-opiate needs. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in improving health outcomes and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need Essential

• A strong passion for supporting individuals through recovery

• A community-focused, inclusive approach to practice

Desirable

• Experience working within substance misuse services or similar support roles
• Knowledge of harm reduction approaches and recovery models
• Experience facilitating group sessions or workshops
• Understanding of partnership working across health and social care services
