Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland seeks a full-time Behaviour Support Advisor to join our complex needs service in Aberdeen on a fixed-term maternity cover. Based at the Stoneywood complex needs service, you will travel across the North of Scotland, with regular trips to Glasgow for national meetings and CPD.

You will develop person-centred Behaviour Support Plans, support staff development, and help monitor progress with evaluations and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with learning disabilities or autism and complex needs.
• Ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload.
• Ability to work with a range of staff.

Responsibilities

• Spend time in services and with staff teams supporting individuals with behaviours of concern.
• Carry out behavioural assessments to improve quality of life and develop behaviour support plans.
• Plan, implement and evaluate behavioural interventions with Regional PBS Manager guidance.
• Deliver service training and develop learning materials for staff teams.
• Monitor progress and produce evaluation reports with graphic data.
