We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor in theNorth, who will be responsible for delivering work that is driven byexcellence as well as doing the right thing. You will share ourreputation for working on some of the UK's most high-profilecommissions. Your teams will work across a wide range of projectswithin the complex infrastructure sector, including rail, highways,utilities, defence, energy and aviation. As well as buildinglong-term, sustainable relationships with our most important clients,you will also be a catalyst for your colleagues' careerprogression.
Your purpose:
- Prepare andmanage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports across thelifecycle of your projects.
- Provide accurate monitoring,forecasting and reporting of project costs and programme performanceensuring value for money and cost efficiency for clients.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders tofacilitate smooth project delivery. Direct and manage client focusedteams and mentor colleagues to provide career growth opportunities.Administer a variety of contracts to ensure commercial control andcompliance.
- Manage contract change collaboratively andeffectively and as appropriate for the project needs. Provide soundcommercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
- Commission management as required.
What youcan bring:- Proven track record of leading projects forUK public sector clients.
- Member of the Royal Institute ofChartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent recognised body (desirable).
- Extensive experience with NEC contracts and similar.
- Experience leading business development and, or accountmanagement activities for major construction clients.
