Job summary

Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking a Complex Care Support Worker in Silsden to provide high-quality, person-centred care for a young client with complex needs. The role includes three night shifts per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10pm–7am) and has opportunities to support the client at home and in the community.

We value compassionate, calm caregivers who can promote independence, dignity, and safety while delivering consistent care and building lasting relationships with the family.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs.
• Ability to administer medication as trained and authorised.
• Familiarity with enteral feeding and NIV processes.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Complex Care Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care for a young client living in Silsden with complex healthcare needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's life while building a meaningful relationship with both the client and their family.

Our client enjoys spending time with his family, going outside and taking part in social activities as well as playing with his toys. We are looking for a caring, engaging individual who can support him both at home and in the community.

The Role

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide specialist support, helping to promote independence, comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and daily living support
• Assisting with mobility and positioning
• Supporting clinical and complex healthcare needs
• Administering medication as trained and authorised
• Monitoring wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately
• Supporting community access, leisure activities, and family outings
• Building positive relationships with the client and family

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs and be confident with:

• Enteral feeding
• Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV)
• Cough assist
• Nebuliser care
• Chest physiotherapy
• Medication administration
