Job summary

Libertatem Healthcare Group in Port Talbot, Wales, is seeking a Complex Care Support Worker to assist a young man with brain injury and complex needs at home. You will support daily living, mobility, medication, and emotional wellbeing, building trust with family and professionals.

The role requires empathy, clear communication, reliability and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Day and night shifts with weekdays and weekend variations are available.

About The Role

Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker – Make a Real Difference! Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Port Talbot, Wales. Pay: Days - £15.31 per hour weekdays, £16.08 per hour weekends. Nights - £16.08 per hour weekdays, £16.84 per hour weekends. Hours: Full/part time (days - 08:30-20:30, waking nights - 20:30-08:30) About the Role You’ll be supporting a young man in his 20's who has complex needs due to brain injury, including cerebral palsy, quadriplegia, dystonia, dysphagia, PEG feeding and severe allergies. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy. He lives at home, which is adapted for his needs, with his family. He has a good sense of humor, enjoys football and adrenaline sports such as skiing, surfing and zip-wiring. Your role will be to support him physically and emotionally, helping him live life to the fullest.
