Job summary

Superior Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in New Romney, Kent to join a small team caring for a gentleman with an acquired brain injury in his own home. This one-to-one role focuses on person-centred care and helping him live life on his terms.

You will promote independence, support daily living, personal care, community activities, and manage complex care needs under supervision from our nursing team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in complex care, rehabilitation, or brain injury support.
• Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a mobility vehicle.
• Commitment to a minimum of two 12-hour shifts per week.
• Full right to work within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex clinical care, including PEG feeding, catheter care, and medication administration
• Support physiotherapy and rehabilitation goals to maximise independence
• Encourage participation in daily living activities and personal goals
• Plan and facilitate meaningful activities, outings, and community access
