Job summary

Libertatem Healthcare Group is hiring a Brain Injury Support Worker in Tre Harris, South Wales, on a zero-hour contract. The role focuses on compassionate, independent support for a female client with a brain injury and complex needs, including PEG and occasional gastric venting.

You will build trust, ensure safety, and work both independently and with a team. Key duties include personal care, PEG feeding, medication assistance (training provided), meal preparation, mobility support, and light

Qualifications

• Previous experience in roles supporting clients with complex needs.
• Experience and/or knowledge of PEG feeding is essential.
• Valid UK driving licence desirable, though non-drivers can apply if you can get to the client’s home.
• Caring and compassionate nature; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting).

Brain Injury Support Worker Location: Tre Harris, South Wales Salary: £15.69 - £16.47 per hour Job Type: Zero-hour contract Shifts: Tuesday

Role Overview: We are offering an opportunity for experienced and dedicated Brain Injury Support Workers to join our new client in Tre Harris, working on a 2:1 ratio.

Our client is a female in her early 30's who lives with her family.

She has a brain injury and other complex needs including PEG and occasional Gastric Venting.

We are seeking support workers who are confident, empathetic, and capable of building a strong, trusting relationship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• PEG feeding and medication
• Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition
• Administering medication may be required (training provided)
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Supporting with moving and handling, mobility and physical activities
• Light housekeeping duties

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience within a similar role, supporting clients with complex needs.
• Experience and/or knowledge of PEG essential.
