Job summary

Libertatem Healthcare in Lowestoft is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist an adult with complex needs, including tracheostomy care and PEG feeding, living at home with his parents. You will work within a 2:1 care team to provide person-centred support and build trust with the client and family.

Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support workers to work alongside our client with complex needs in Lowestoft Suffolk.

Hours: Days: 7:00am–7:00pm | Waking Nights: 7:00pm–7:00am | Sleeping Nights: 7:00pm–7:00am (Sleep-in: 10:00pm–7:00am)

About the Role

You’ll be supporting an adult who lives at home with his parents and their two small, friendly dogs. He has a tracheostomy and PEG feeding and requires support from a dedicated 2:1 care team.

He enjoys spending time at home, playing games on his laptop, and has a great sense of humour. Building a positive, trusting relationship with him is an important part of the role.

We're looking for someone with a solid background in care who is compassionate, reliable, and enjoys providing person-centred support. Previous complex care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided in tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and all other aspects of his specialist support.

£33,000 - £38,000 per annum, Dependent on Experience

£16.25 per hour up to £18.25 per hour depending on shift
