Job summary

Libertatem Healthcare Group in Lowestoft is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist an adult with complex care needs at home. You will join a 2:1 care team, support daily routines, monitor health, and provide companionship with sensitivity and patience.

Full training in tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and related support will be provided. The role requires compassionate, reliable individuals who can work independently and as part of a team within a supportive, values-driven organisation.

Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support workers to work alongside our client with complex needs in Lowestoft Suffolk.

Hours: Days: 7:00am–7:00pm | Waking Nights: 7:00pm–7:00am | Sleeping Nights: 7:00pm–7:00am (Sleep-in: 10:00pm–7:00am)

About the Role

You’ll be supporting an adult who lives at home with his parents and their two small, friendly dogs. He has a tracheostomy and PEG feeding and requires support from a dedicated 2:1 care team.

He enjoys spending time at home, playing games on his laptop, and has a great sense of humour. Building a positive, trusting relationship with him is an important part of the role.

We're looking for someone with a solid background in care who is compassionate, reliable, and enjoys providing person-centred support. Previous complex care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided in tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and all other aspects of his specialist support.
