Job Opportunity at Precedo Healthcare in Liversedge

Precedo Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our highly trained team in Liversedge. We provide care and support to a young lady living independently with her family, who has high-level learning difficulties, limited verbal communication, and may display extreme challenging behaviour, including self-injury.

This role requires previous experience working with similar clients and an understanding of positive behaviour support. Full training and induction will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working towards person-centred care plans using a low demand approach
2. Employing de-escalation techniques and role play
3. Assisting with daily activities, outings, and appointments
4. Maintaining excellent documentation and records
5. Providing personal care, including continence care, if necessary

Applicants must have at least six months of paid UK experience within the last two years in a similar healthcare setting. The role offers a variety of hours on a rota basis, including occasional respite shifts, typically Monday to Sunday, 9 am to 4 pm, with 12-hour shifts (9 am to 9 pm) during respite periods.

This position is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 due to genuine occupational need to recruit females, considering the nature of the role.
