Job summary

Real Care Agency Ltd. is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join the Complex Care team in East Kilbride. The role provides essential home care for individuals with complex needs, including dementia and health conditions, promoting independence and quality of life.

Driving with a own car is likely required for client visits. Full training is provided; flexible hours including some weekends and evenings. Pay is £13.45 per hour with optional mileage and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Real Care Agency is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our Complex Care team in East Kilbride.

The Support Worker role involves providing essential care and support to individuals with Complex Needs such as Dementia, Stoke, Physical and Mental Health Disabilities, Epilepsy, End of Live, Palliative Care, Stoma and Catheter, Oxygen Care within their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Needs to be driver with own car as likely to involve trips out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication support.
• Support clients to engage in meaningful activities and community involvement.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in clients' needs or well-being.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure coordinated care delivery.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for some weekends and evenings.
• Willingness to undertake training and development.
• Disclosure Scotland (PVG) Check will be required.

Desirable:

• Experience in working with people with complex care
• Qualification in health and social care is advantageous.
• Knowledge of care standards and legislation.
