Paediatric Nurse

Location: Wakefield

Hours: 08:00-16:00, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Pay Rates (including holiday pay): Days: £39.11

Thornbury Community Services, an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider, recruits paediatric nurses to deliver bespoke care and support to young people. Our aim is to help them stabilize at home, achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies, and enjoy trips into their local community.

We are seeking female children’s nurses in Bradford with UK-based complex care experience to care for a 1-year-old girl with a brain injury who loves interacting with people. She enjoys sensory play, music, spending time with her family, and the family cat.

Role requirements

We seek female paediatric nurses with at least 6 months of recent experience within the last 2 years, who are passionate, resilient, and highly skilled. Essential experience includes:

• Deep Suctioning
• Palliative Care
• Care and use of Nasal-Jejunostomy
• Care, use, and insertion of Nasogastric tubes
• Epilepsy management
• Administration of Buccal Medication
• Chest Physiotherapy
