Job summary

A local care provider is looking for an experienced Complex Care Nurse or PA/Carer to assist with caring for a patient with late-stage Alzheimer’s in Bridestowe. The role requires working 1 to 2 days per week, including some holidays. A flexible schedule is preferred, and candidates must have their own transport. Qualifications

• Must have experience with patients requiring complex care, including personal care and hoisting.
• Own transport is required for travel to the location.
• Flexibility to cover for other care team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide care assistance for a patient with late-stage Alzheimer’s.
• Help with all daily tasks including personal care and feeding.
• Work 1 to 2 days per week, including part of Christmas Day or Boxing Day if needed.

Job description

Experienced & Qualified Complex Care Nurse or PA/ Carer required for 1 to 2 days per week.
Location – Bridestowe Village Nr. OKEHAMPTON/TAVISTOCK DEVON
12 hrs per day – £228.00 per day (8.30am-8:30pm)
Care is carried out within a private household setting for my mum in Bridestowe who has COMPLEX care needs.
Must have your own transport and be reliable.

*Must be prepared to work as part of a team, and work at least part of Christmas Day or Boxing Day

*Preference will be given to applicants with flexibility to cover other care team members’ sickness & holidays

*Nights are NOT unfortunately available on their own without any days

Mum has late stage Alzheimer’s and requires assistance with ALL daily tasks including hoisting, personal care, feeding & fluids.
