Job summary

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support an adult female with complex health needs at home in Ilford, Essex. You will work nights (Fri–Mon 21:00–07:00), assisting with medications, enteral feeding, and moving & handling to ensure safe, person-centered care throughout the night.

We provide full training, paid shadow shifts, and regular night work in a supportive team focused on high-quality community care.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and resilient with a genuine passion for person-centered care.
• Experience in UK care (minimum 12 months).
• Exposure to clinical complex care.
• Personal care and manual handling responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time support to an adult female in her own home.
• Assist with medication administration, enteral feeding, and moving & handling.
• Work alongside another carer to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment throughout the night.

Community Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care

Location: Ilford, Essex

Shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday nights - 21:00-07:00

Pay Rates (including holiday pay):

• Nights:£19.15 per hour
• Weekends: £21.22 per hour
