Job summary

OneCall24 Healthcare is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a male client in his late 30s at his home in Sidmouth, Devon. This is a 24-hour waking complex care package for a client living with a spinal cord injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia.

Role focuses on complex spinal injury care, autonomic dysreflexia management, medication administration, and helping with all personal care and daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex spinal injury care.
• Autonomic Dysreflexia awareness and management.
• Medication administration and clinical observations.
• Support with all personal care and ADLs.
• Nutrition and hydration support.
• Bespoke moving and handling techniques.
• Bowel care including enemas and digital stimulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex spinal injury care within the client's home.
• Deliver personal care and support with ADLs.
• Administer medications and monitor clinical observations.
• Assist with autonomic dysreflexia awareness and response.
• Follow bespoke moving and handling techniques.
• Support nutrition and hydration.
• Maintain professional and calm communication with the client.
