Job summary

Ocean Healthcare in Torbay and Teignbridge is looking for Care Assistants to support children and adults with complex health needs at home or in the community. Roles include 1:1 or 2:1 care, with days and nights on offer across various shifts, including 12-hour contracts. We provide specialist, nurse-led training.

Pay rates start at £13.50–£17.80 per hour depending on complexity. Applicants need at least 1 year UK experience, two UK references, reliability, good communication and right to work

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of UK experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker
• Two UK work references (at least one must be care-related)
• Reliability and Good Communication
• Right to work in the UK (We do not offer Work Visa)

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist 1:1 or 2:1 support for children and/or adults with complex health needs
• Care may be delivered in the home or in the community
• Support with airway management, PEG feeding, medication administration, tracheostomy care, cough assist, deep suction
