Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a 93-year-old gentleman with a tracheostomy in his own home in Kimberley, Nottingham. You will provide personal care and clinical support to keep him comfortable and well cared for on site.

Key tasks include tracheostomy care, suctioning, PEG feed management, moving and handling, bowel management and administering medications while supporting day-to-day activities. Shifts include days and nights.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care and support for clients with complex needs.
• Ability to manage care tasks safely in a home setting.
• Competence with basic clinical tasks and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and essential support to the client.
• Carry out tracheostomy care and suctioning as required.
• Manage PEG feeds and assist with day-to-day activities.
• Assist with moving and handling and bowel management.
