What our client is looking for
We are seeking a motivated diligent individual who has previous care experience and is looking for a new challenge. This is a very privileged role and one that doesn’t come up often; supporting a very amazing individual in their own home. Previous experience caring for someone with a Spinal Cord Injury would be great but isn’t essential. The purpose of the support is to assist this person to remain as independent as possible – it includes day cover for some days to support with personal care, to drive the individual to work and to assist with some household tasks too. Part of this role also includes sleep in night duties to assist the person back to bed and then to sleep over incase needed.
Yes – due to the duties required in this role previous experience is required, ideally looking after people with spinal injuries.
