Job summary

Airmid Staffing Ltd is hiring a Complex Care Assistant to support a 5‑month‑old baby with complex needs in their own home in North Finchley/Kent. The role involves night shifts from 22:00 to 07:00 on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, with weekly PAYE payments.

Experience in paediatric care and tasks such as suctioning, feeding, and medication handling is desirable. DBS on Update Service, right to work in the UK, and references are required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience caring for children with disabilities
• Basic Life Support and practical Moving & Handling training
• DBS on the Update Service
• Two satisfactory professional references
• Proof of UK right to work
• Ability to complete compliance checks within the next few days

Responsibilities

• Support a 5 month old baby with complex care needs in their own home.
• Provide night-time care and support tasks as required.
• Administer basic care tasks in line with care plan.

Relevant Experience

Experience in any of the following is desirable:

• Suctioning
• NJ/NGT feeding
• Medication
• Dystonia
• Moving and handling

Essential Requirements

• At least 6 months' experience caring for children with disabilities
• Basic Life Support and practical Moving & Handling training
• DBS on the Update Service
• Two satisfactory professional references
• Proof of UK right to work
• Ability to complete compliance checks within the next few days
