Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of City & County Healthcare Group, is recruiting for a carer to provide overnight support for a 16-year-old with a spinal injury in the Aylesbury area. You will work in the client’s home, delivering care per the plan, and assisting with bowel management, medications and manual handling.

The role requires a caring, reliable individual who can drive to the location. DBS check, full training and career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care setting is advantageous.
• Experience with catheter care and bowel management.
• Moving & Handling Equipment experience.
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight care for a 16-year-old girl with a spinal injury at home according to the care plan.
• Deliver compassionate, reliable support with all aspects of daily care.
• Assist with bowel management, medication administration and safe moving & handling.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a caring and reliable individual to assist a 16 year old girl in the Aylesbury area with a spinal injury.

The client lives at home and we are looking for someone to support and assist with all aspects of care. We are looking for kind caring and compassionate individuals!

The client has a multitude of complex clinical needs where you will deliver overnight care in line with the care plan which includes:

- Bowel Management

- Medication Administration

- Specialist Moving & Handling

Qualifications

Experience in the following would make your application more advantageous:

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience with catheter care and bowel management.
• Moving & Handling Equipment.
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.
