Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care Angus is seeking a Complex Care Assistant for rural Forfar. This role involves supporting two clients in the same home with personal care, daily living activities, and outings.

A driver with own transport is essential due to the rural setting, and you may work zero-hour or contracted hours, including day shifts and occasional overnight stays. Experience with epilepsy or non-verbal clients is desirable; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with clients who have epilepsy is desirable.
• Experience with non-verbal individuals is beneficial, full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support.
• Assist with outings and mobility within the home.
• Work as part of a small team to cover two clients in the same property.

Hourly pay – £16.40 week days and £18.73 weekends

What our client is looking for

An understanding and experience of working with clients with Epilepsy is desirable as is experience working with non-verbal individuals , however full training will be provided.

Care package involves the provision of care for two clients within the same home, working with a competent team of carers to provide support with personal care, daily living activities and outings.

Driver with access to own transport is essential due to rural location. Position involves driving the clients wheelchair accessible vehicle therefore applicants must be confident in driving a larger vehicle.

Full time 35 plus hours, level of flexibility is required, mostly day shifts however will include occasional overnights up to one week per month.

Applicants are required to have a level of flexibility to meet the requirements of the clients.
