Job summary

SSQ, on behalf of a leading UK law firm, seeks a Competition Litigation Associate to handle high-profile competition disputes in the London area. The role focuses on complex, cross-border matters within a top-tier disputes group.

Circa 3–5 years PQE in competition litigation is preferred. You will advise on standalone and follow-on damages, manage proceedings before the CAT and High Court, and mentor junior lawyers while collaborating with senior colleagues on diverse commercial and banking

Qualifications

• Circa 3–5 years' PQE or equivalent in competition litigation.
• Strong technical background in competition law and litigation.
• Ability to deliver practical, commercial legal advice.
• Strong commercial awareness and client-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle standalone and follow-on competition damages claims, including collective proceedings.
• Manage matters before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the High Court.
• Handle claimant and defendant-side competition litigation across domestic and international disputes.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and mentor junior team members.
