Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Care Assistant to join our Elm Vetson team on a part-time fixed-term basis for 12 months.

Working under the supervision of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will support inpatient care, assist with patient handling and restraint, help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with clients and team members.
• Strong organisational abilities in a busy clinical environment.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive veterinary team.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet our clients and their pets.
• Manage client enquiries and appointments booked via telephone, online or in person.
• Manage administrative tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Manage financial transactions.
