Job summary

Choice Support in Maidstone is seeking a patient, caring, reliable female Support Worker to join an established team. You will provide person-centred support to a young woman with learning disabilities and autism in her own apartment, helping her stay independent and engaged in activities.

The role is largely lone-working, with training provided, including medication administration, and DBS checks. Full or part-time hours available; drive and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Female applicant is required (Occupational Requirement applies).
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Non-smoker and non-vaper.
• Commitment to delivering person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day support tailored to individual needs.
• Following person-centred support plans and established guidelines.
• Assisting with the administration of medication.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Supporting attendance at a range of social and leisure activities.
• Encouraging independence, choice and inclusion.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and professionals as required.
