Job summary

Kent Autistic Trust in Canterbury is hiring kind, caring Support Workers to assist autistic adults in welcoming supported living services. You will help with daily practical and emotional support, personal care, medication, and engaging activities such as swimming, shopping, cinema trips, and theme park days.

You'll also support everyday domestic tasks, keep living spaces safe and clean, and respond with empathy to anxiety or communication differences. A friendly, compassionate team awaits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (manual vehicle).
• Right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available.
• Ability to support individuals with anxiety or behavioural differences.
• Clear, calm, and adaptable communication with complex profiles.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional daily support to autistic adults in supported living.
• Assist with personal care, medication, and daily living tasks.
• Engage in meaningful activities like swimming, cinema trips, and outings.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment and assist with domestic tasks.
