Job summary

Turning Point is seeking a caring Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities in England. You’ll support daily living skills, mobility, personal care, medication support, and safety in a 24-hour facility. Driving and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Essential: supportive and caring attitude.
• Strong communication with residents and colleagues.
• Able to work in a busy 24-hour care setting.
• Willingness to perform personal care tasks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Promoting independence of residents.
• Support daily activities including cleaning and cooking.
• Arrange activities in home and local community.
• Develop residents’ life skills and personal interests.
• Help residents stay safe and healthy.
• Assist with personal care where required (close personal care).
• Manual handling as needed.
• Support residents with medication and record keeping.
