Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd is recruiting a Female Support Worker for our Park Road service in New Barnet, Hertfordshire. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in daily living, community activities and personal care, delivering person-centred assistance as part of a dedicated team.

The role involves rota shifts including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. Training is provided, with progression opportunities and DBS paid for by CareTech.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates caring and patient attitude in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team.
• Commitment to promote dignity, wellbeing and independence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support per individual plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where needed.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing; support activities and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of the team.
• Be flexible to rota requirements including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
