Job summary

Mears Supported Living Ltd is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist individuals in their own homes and in the community across varied shifts, including 24-hour packages and sleepovers. You will help with daily tasks, personal care, and community access, making a real difference in people’s lives.

No formal qualifications are required; we welcome individuals with the right values and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Commitment to quality and being the best we can.

• Clear communicator.
• 2-1 support in the community (second person can be a male).
• Enthusiasm, passion and compassion for care.

• Physical fitness (not extreme).
• Ability to manage behaviour which challenges.

Responsibilities

• Prompting medication, personal hygiene and helping with basic household tasks.
• Cooking, cleaning, shopping and accessing the community for appointments and activities.
• Duties vary daily as each service user is an individual and deserves tailored care.
