Job summary

Sense Scotland is seeking passionate Support Workers to help adults living independently in their own tenancies. You will be part of a friendly team, providing practical support with daily living, personal care, and community participation.

No prior care experience required. We offer comprehensive training and ongoing support, flexible rota including early, late, sleepovers and night shifts, and a welcoming, respectful environment where you can build a rewarding career in social care.

Qualifications

• Flexible with shift patterns and ready to cover a rota including early, late, sleepovers and nights.
• We do not offer visa sponsorship for vacancies.

Responsibilities

• Promoting independence, choice and individuality for people we support.
• Providing practical support with personal care, household tasks, meals and medication administration.
• Supporting people to join activities and hobbies in the community.
• Working closely with families, professionals and colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintaining accurate daily records and contributing to support planning.
