Job summary

Dimensions Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help a lady in her 30s live independently at home. You will provide personal care, medication support, and emotional reassurance, building a trusting relationship and supporting her goals.

Shifts are day-based, 8am to 8pm with weekends, with a focus on independent living, community activities, meals, and safe driving; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and promoting independence
• Medication support
• Occasional wheelchair assistance
• Preparing meals and supporting healthy eating
• Food shopping and community activities
• Household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry
• Providing emotional reassurance and positive encouragement
• Supporting her to enjoy hobbies, interests and days out
