Job summary

Voyage Care in Folkestone is seeking caring Support Workers to help people gain independence in daily life within our supported living service. You will work across shifts, including weekends, with a focus on person-centred activities and community engagement.

You will need resilience, flexibility and experience with Positive Behaviour Support and complex needs such as autism or mental health challenges. DBS checks and references are required, and comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans is required.
• Experience working with individuals needing enhanced support and challenging behaviours is preferred.
• Candidate should be resilient, flexible and composed.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain independence in daily life and grow confidence.
• Support with daily activities, socialising and community outings.
• Promote learning and life skills to reach personal goals.
• Follow care plans and maintain DBS checks and references as required.
