Job summary

Ourway Care Ltd in Bodmin is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker to assist a young woman living with a spinal cord injury in a home environment. You will support daily living, personal care and community activities while encouraging independence and choice.

The role requires reliability, flexibility and a caring attitude, with driving licence preferred for client outings. Full-time, 36 hours across three shifts.

Qualifications

• A positive, caring and proactive approach.
• Previous experience in a care or support role.
• Flexible, reliable and committed.
• Comfortable working around pets.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive the client's adapted vehicle.
• Experience of complex care and/or spinal cord injuries.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and respiratory care
• Supporting with daily living tasks and household duties
• Assisting with community outings and occasional holidays
