Priory is recruiting a Care Support Worker for Progress House in the UK. You will join a compassionate team delivering personalised care to residents with learning disabilities and autism, under qualified staff supervision.

The role involves assisting with daily living tasks, documenting care plans, and promoting independence. Full-time, 36 hours, shifts include early, late, sleeps, and weekends; driving license required.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Experience working in a similar role.
• A caring and respectful approach to supporting others.
• Ability to work flexibly and think innovatively.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to upholding professional standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
• Encourage and assist participation in activities and community life.
• Support service users in achieving their personal outcomes in the way they choose.
• Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in line with policies and regulations.
• Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them to set goals and track progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times.
