Job summary

Mencap is seeking a Female Support Worker for Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, on a full-time or part-time basis. A valid UK driving licence and ability to drive are required.

You will help individuals with learning disabilities with daily activities and provide emotional support, working with a diverse group of people to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be a driver with a full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities and daily living tasks.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Engage with individuals in activities such as music, craft, cooking, gardening, walks and games.
• Support 24hr care rotas and plan personal and social life accordingly.
