Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd. in Norwich is seeking a Support Worker to empower people in their own homes and local community within a supported living environment.

You will provide practical and emotional support, enabling individuals to achieve their goals while respecting dignity and individuality. The role includes shifts across days, evenings, nights and weekends, with onboarding checks including DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex care is preferred but all training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people to achieve their goals and live independently.
• Promote health, well-being, and inclusion in line with individual support plans.
• General housekeeping duties including shopping and domestic tasks; support with personal care as needed.
• Complete a range of records and documents; lone and team working as required.
