Community Integrated Care is recruiting a Bank/Casual Female Support Worker for a service in Thurso to assist a lady with Downs Syndrome and Autism at home with her dad. The role involves companionship, daily activities, outings, and supporting routines in a respectful, person-centred way.

You will need a UK driving license and access to your own car, and be comfortable working 9am–9pm Mon-Thu and weekends with sleepovers. A genuine occupational requirement for a female colleague is stated.

Qualifications

• Experience or ability to support adults with learning disabilities.
• Patience and compassionate communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including sleepovers.
• UK driving license and access to own car required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily routines, activities and community outings.
• Provide person-centred support respecting preferences and independence.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness and report changes to the team.
• Sleepovers on Fridays and Saturdays as required.
