Job summary

Support 2 Independence seeks compassionate carers to support people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and physical disabilities in Wirral. You will work as part of a friendly scheme team, providing 24/7 care on a rolling rota and helping residents maximise independence.

Full training is given; Level 2/3 NVQ in Adult Health Social Care is available. A £200 starter bonus and referral bonus are offered, along with health benefits and discounts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Full driving licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a warm team in one of our schemes to assist people supported.
• Provide 24/7 care on a rolling rota including early, late, wake nights and weekends.
• Support individuals to maximise independence and live life to the fullest.
• Help participants participate in social and recreational community activities.
• Assist with daily activities and accompany appointments and outings.
• Keep records up-to-date and monitor changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
