Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a compassionate Support Practitioner in Cumbernauld to help individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and additional support needs. You will assist with daily living tasks, medication support, finances, housework, meals and personal care, while encouraging participation in activities.

No prior care experience is required, as full training will be provided, including a funded SVQ.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Able to work well in a team and on your own.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily living tasks.
• Provide support with medication and finances, housework, meals and personal care.
• Deliver moving and handling support with appropriate training as needed.
• Engage in activities and hobbies with the people supported.
