Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate individuals to join as Support Practitioners in Nairn on a part-time basis. No prior care experience is required as full training and SVQ funding are provided.

You’ll support adults with disabilities and additional needs in daily tasks, including personal care, finances, meals and household chores, within their own homes across Scotland. A driving licence is not required but preferred for some shifts.

Qualifications

• Have an empathetic and caring nature.
• Good observation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• We support people with a variety of hobbies and activities, and you’ll help them engage in outings and groups as part of their daily routine.
