Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is looking for compassionate Support Practitioners in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. No prior care experience is required as training including SVQ is provided. The role involves shifts including days, back, sleepovers and waking nights, with a driver preferred but not essential.

You will support individuals with disabilities in their homes across everyday tasks, including meals, household duties, finances and personal care, in a varied and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Good observation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily living needs, including medication and finances, housework and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care as required and support participation in activities.
