Job summary

SeeAbility is looking for a dedicated Male Support Worker in Redhill to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss live fuller, more independent lives. The role offers 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract, with guaranteed hours and sleep-ins paid at £50 per night.

Sleep-ins are a regular part of the role and full UK driving licence is required. You will join a values-led team that focuses on patience, consistency and care.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills (spoken & written).
• Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) with 7-day availability.
• Previous experience in a care/support setting is desirable.
• Ability to work long shifts (12 hours +).
• A valid manual UK driving licence is required.
• The legal right to live and work in the UK.
• Sleep-in once per week at £50 per night.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines from morning to bedtime.
• Plan and enjoy person-centred activities—walks, outings, daily tasks.
• Build trusted, respectful relationships to support wellbeing.
• Keep clear and accurate records of care and activities.
• Work closely with colleagues and other professionals.
