Job summary

SeeAbility in Redhill, Surrey is hiring a Bank Female Support Worker to help a young woman with autism and learning disabilities live as independently as possible. This is a physical, hands-on role requiring patience, consistency and excellent English communication.

You will work with a 2:1 support ratio during day services and community outings, follow person-centred plans, keep accurate records and collaborate with the care team. Driving licence is essential; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills (spoken & written).
• Previous experience in a care/support setting.
• Ability to work long shifts (12 hours+).
• A valid manual UK driving licence.
• The legal right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines from morning to bedtime.
• Plan and participate in person-centred activities — walks, activities, outings.
• Build trusted relationships to support confidence and wellbeing.
• Keep clear and accurate records.
• Work closely with colleagues and professionals.
