Job summary

St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking staff to support patient care through comprehensive planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing and clinical duties. Qualifications

• Planning and organising a defined caseload of patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Recognise signs of deterioration and respond according to protocol.
• Maintain appropriate levels of training for clinical skills.
• Maintain safe custody of drugs and comply with procedures.
• Escalate complaints/concerns to Line Manager.
• Report and escalate clinical incidents/near misses.
• Be part of multidisciplinary team and advocate for patients.
• Adhere to policies, SOPs and guidelines.
• Undertake risk assessments and implement risk reducing measures.
• Ensure privacy, dignity and safety of individuals.
• Use resources efficiently and manage equipment and stock.
• Liaise with Roster Coordinator and sign off agency timesheets.
• Order and receipt goods per Trust financial framework.
• Assist in appraisal process and personal development.
