Kerry Collins Recruitment is seeking compassionate Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants to join our Gloucester team. You will provide personal care, support daily living activities, and help residents in home care, assisted living, and nursing settings.

Dementia care, strong communication, empathy, and reliability are essential. Duties include medication administration, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with health professionals to implement care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care or dementia care preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and families.
• Ability to administer medications safely and maintain records.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and grooming.
• Offer dementia care support, ensuring a safe and comforting environment for individuals experiencing cognitive challenges.
• Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met according to dietary requirements.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor the health status of clients, reporting any changes to relevant professionals.
• Engage in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations during shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
