Job summary

Stanburn Primary School is seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support SEND children in daily learning activities, working closely with teachers, therapists and parents to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.

Term-time only role (39 weeks) with 28.33 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.40am-3.20pm. Relevant experience and a Level 3 qualification are desirable, and you will play a key part in helping children Believe, Achieve, and

• Experience working with SEND children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
• A patient and calm demeanour with the ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND children with their learning and development.
• Work with teachers, therapists and fellow teaching assistants to support learning.
• Help create engaging learning environments and plan age-appropriate activities.
• Liaise with parents and carers to provide progress updates and support safeguarding.
