Job summary

Nini Social Care Services CIC is seeking a dedicated individual to act as an Appropriate or Responsible Adult to support children or vulnerable adults during legal processes. You will safeguard rights, provide reassurance, and mentor individuals in challenging settings.

Responsibilities include facilitating custody proceedings, ensuring understanding of rights, maintaining confidentiality, and coordinating with police and solicitors as required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or vulnerable adults is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, empathy and mentoring abilities.
• Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required.

Responsibilities

• To carry out appropriate adult call-outs to any venue that may be required.
• To support and assist a child or vulnerable adult through the custody process or meetings.
• To ensure rights, health and legal entitlements are observed and upheld.
• To assist with communication between the vulnerable individual and professionals.
• To complete the appropriate adult report form and return it within 24 hours.
